Technical Design Internship — Fleur du Mal
Fleur du Mal’s Fashion Technical Design Internship offers a hands-on learning experience within our intimate, fast-paced design team. Interns gain valuable insight into the full technical design process — from fittings to production — across both our lingerie and ready-to-wear categories. Because our team is small, interns play an integral role in daily operations and have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while developing essential industry skills.
Interns will report directly to the Assistant Technical Designer, supporting both the Lingerie and RTW teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Measuring and preparing samples for fittings
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of tech packs
- Creating flat sketches for new collections using Adobe Illustrator
- Organizing and maintaining the sample archive
- Attending fittings and taking detailed fit notes
- Supporting the development of fit comments for both Lingerie and RTW
Requirements:
- Preferred enrollment in a Fashion Design or Technical Design program
- Must be eligible to receive college credit or commit to an unpaid internship
